Recent statistics released by Kantar Worldpanel show that over the past twelve months the retail sales of frozen foods in the UK have grown by 5.4%, bringing them up to £6.1 billion.

Savoury foods that have been particularly big drivers of the market, especially frozen pizza, and frozen bread and savoury bakery goods. These market elements altogether now have a combined increase of more than £100 million, year on year, representing 16% of the total value of the frozen food market.

Similarly, ice cream did particularly well in the 52 weeks up until June 2018, representing 7.7% of the frozen food market’s value.
